The Theageneio Cancer Hospital of Thessaloniki launches of the first two of a wider series of free breast screening examinations organised in the framework of JA-CommCare project.
Through its Mobile Health Unit, free breast examinations — and mammograms where deemed necessary — will be offered to women aged 45–74 in:
- Aridea — 16 May 2026
- Exaplatanos — 17 May 2026
These activities mark the beginning of a broader screening campaign that will continue in additional locations in the coming months, within the framework of the JA-CommCare project, which promotes cancer prevention, early diagnosis and community-based healthcare services.
