On 5 December 2025, the last Subsidy Contract for the nineteen (19) new projects under the 1st Call for project proposals of the INTERREG VI-A IPA Greece–North Macedonia 2021–2027 Cooperation Programme, with a total budget of €22.2 million, was signed by the Alternate Minister of Economy and Finance, Nikos Papathanasis.
In total, 75 organisations are participating — 39 from Greece and 36 from North Macedonia.
With the completion of this process, the Programme — having already activated 90% of its total budget — now enters its full implementation phase for the next two years.
